A server with AI Companions: Is it something gamers will like to try?

I'm brainstorming a unique Minecraft server concept and would love to get some community feedback before diving in. The core idea is to build a server around popular roleplay mods (think things like Create, Origins, or immersive RPG packs like Better Minecraft or DawnCraft), but with a twist: integrated AI companions that enhance the roleplay experience.

• AI Companions: Each player gets an AI buddy that starts basic and levels up alongside you. Abilities unlock progressively (e.g., at low levels, it can help with simple tasks like wood collecting or basic crafting). As you level, it gets more advanced, maybe assisting with farming, combat support, or even trading.

The goal is to make Minecraft feel more alive and story-driven without overwhelming the core gameplay.

What I'm Looking For Feedback On:​

1. Roleplay Strength in Minecraft: How well do you think this AI companion system would boost roleplay? Would leveling unlocks make it feel rewarding, or could it disrupt the vanilla-ish feel? Any mods you've seen that do something similar (good or bad examples)?
2. Sentiment on AI Companions: What's your overall vibe on adding AI like this? Excited for more dynamic NPCs, or worried about it feeling gimmicky/AI-overload?
