Geyser allows Minecraft Bedrock Edition players to connect to a Java Edition server.
For a Paper or Spigot server, download Geyser-Spigot and place the jar inside:
plugins/
Restart the server.
After the first startup, Geyser creates its configuration files.
The main config is normally located in:
plugins/Geyser-Spigot/config.yml
Find the Bedrock connection section.
The important setting is the Bedrock port.
The default commonly used Bedrock port is:
19132
Remember that Bedrock uses UDP.
If you host the server yourself, the selected port must be allowed through your firewall and router.
After configuring it, restart the server.
You can test whether the port is reachable with:
geyser connectiontest YOUR_IP YOUR_PORT
Bedrock players then connect using the server address and the configured Bedrock port.
If your hosting provider gives you a specific additional port for Geyser, use that instead of choosing a random one.
Geyser lets Bedrock clients connect to Java servers, but normal authentication rules still apply unless you also install Floodgate.
The current Geyser documentation confirms installation through Geyser-Spigot, the Bedrock UDP port and the connection test command.
