Hey,
So I used to run Bukkit servers back in, probably, 2012-2016? I’ve developed some fairly basic plugins for Bukkit (a gambling coinflip plugin with inventory gui and animation, etc) so I’m pretty comfortable with the server management and development aspects (I’d want to create a cool, unique experience).
Since then, I’ve done some bare-bones server hosting on one of my AWS servers using Paper. Is that the current best server hosting/API platform? When I was hosting, I never had more than 20-30 concurrents. What sort of specs are we looking at for hundreds of simultaneous players? A thousand? RAM? Upload/download?
If anyone is interested in talking more/maybe collaborating, feel free to send me a message and we can chat on discord.
