GUIDE MINECRAFT Find Suspicious Players with CoreProtect

CoreProtect can do more than roll back grief.

You can also use it to investigate suspicious player activity.

To check blocks around your current location, use:

/co near

This performs a nearby lookup.

To search what a player did during the last hour:

/co lookup u:PlayerName t:1h

To check blocks broken by that player:

/co lookup u:PlayerName t:1h a:-block

A useful command for investigating possible Xray is:

/co lookup i:diamond_ore t:1h a:-block

This shows diamond ore that was mined during the selected period.

You can also search player chat:

/co lookup u:PlayerName t:30m a:chat

Or login history:

/co lookup u:PlayerName a:login

If the result contains multiple pages, CoreProtect lets you move between lookup pages.

Do not automatically ban somebody just because they mined many ores.

Use CoreProtect information together with other evidence.

For example, check mining patterns, timestamps and whether the player repeatedly moved directly between valuable ore veins.

CoreProtect's official command documentation supports filters for users, time, radius, actions and block types, including diamond ore, chat and login lookups.
