Unsure if this is a direct Minecraft server issue, or a local computer issue.
I help run a public server, and recently, when using the "/" to start a command in chat, the game automatically adds a second "/" to the line.
We have World Edit, which I know uses 2 "/", but this has not been an issue until just recently when I switched from Windows to Linux. I don't have this issue in other programs so I'm wondering if there is something I need to do in game settings to prevent this, or if there's a weird linux to Minecraft issue?
To help explain this, When I want to use any server commands, it's a single "/"
Like this: /home <name>
What happens: I press the forward slash key which opens chat and puts the initial "/", then it auto adds a second one right away dropping me into the WE commands. I have to interrupt my typing to backspace to the single "/" before I can finish the server command.
Any ideas?
