I am trying to help my boys. They are playing Minecraft on Nintendo Switch. Bedrock v26.0. they are playing split screen together on the same tv/not online.
Forgive me I don’t know much but recently learned commands for teleporting.
The one boy who is the adnministator/owner of the world can teleport himself By typing ”/tp (coordinates)”
He can even teleport the two of them together By typing “/tp u/a (coordinates)”. But when he tries to teleport his brother by typing his name, or if he tries to give Him owner permissions by typing “/op (name)”, it seems like it doesnt recognize his brothers name. It says “no targets matched selector”.
so the other brother can’t make any commands and the brother that owns the world can’t give him permissions or do any commands involving his name.
the name we are using is what shows on his Minecraft screen. And it’s also his switch profile name. How do we fix this “no targets matched selector” issue?
