How to add a subcommand to an already existing plugin

I have a plugin which I like a lot (Medieval factions), it has pretty much everything I want except a way to add power. the only command there is is /power set [player] [amount], every time I want to add power to someone I have to check the players power, calculate how much they need added and then set it all by myself, I would really like a subcommand /power add [power] [amount], but I have pretty much 0 coding experience, and an already pre made plugin is pretty rough to navigate as a beginner
