Yes I know hybrids and ketting is unpopular and a bit outdated atp.
I don't have logs as that's one of the issues. I'm trying to make a kubejs script to track dropped items but that's gonna take a while.
Here's an overview:
I have 2 plugins, towny and worldguard, with either one or both being used to handle safezones, i.e. towns or the world spawn.
For some reason in these zones players no matter rank, server op or not, etc can drop items. But it only affects direct drops. Dispensers, water streams carrying items, etc all allow items to exist in these safezones.
Towny and RG perms don't change anything either as the issue persists, even when explicitly allowing it.
Nothing in the configs (clearlag, essentials, towny, worldguard) affects player drops or item drops either, so I suspect it's bukkit's playerdropevent being affected directly.
Anyone have any experience with the issue or testing bukkit's PlayerDropEvent?
