Limit Orders return more shards than Sell NVC, even when both use the same price (50-60 shards). This occurs despite the exchange fee and trade limits applying to both methods.


Expected behavior: Both methods should return the same amount of shards when using the same price and applying the same fees and trade limits.

Both use the exact same pricing, fee and limits. The difference is slippage. The rate shown (e.g. 211.58) is the spot price, and selling 20 NVC moves the pool, so an instant sell pays a bit less per NVC (about 208.9 here, 4,178 Shards). A limit order at 211.58 guarantees 211.58 per NVC after slippage, so it only fills once the market has risen high enough, around 214.4 spot in this case. A normal sell at that moment would pay the same. A limit order does not pay more for the same price; it waits for a better price.
