| SMP owners with huge auto farms, listen up. The latest CoreProtect update has introduced a significantly improved blacklist system that is a game-changer for survival server performance. If you run a server with high-efficiency mob farms, you likely know how quickly entity death logs can bloat your database and waste storage. Ours is at like 30 gb now lol Example blacklist.txt ; --- FALL DAMAGE (Drop Farms) ---minecraft:glow_squid@#fallminecraft:slime@#fallminecraft:spider@#fallminecraft:zombie@#fallminecraft:skeleton@#fallminecraft:creeper@#fallminecraft:enderman@#fallminecraft:witch@#fallminecraft:zombie_villager@#fallminecraft:drowned@#fall; --- LAVA & FIRE (Iron/Mob Farms) ---minecraft:iron_golem@#lavaminecraft:bat@#lavaminecraft:bat@#fire; --- OTHER FARM TYPES ---minecraft:guardian@#suffocationminecraft:shulker@#shulker_bullet; --- WITHER EFFECTS (Wither Rose/Wither Farms) ---minecraft:zombie@#wither_effectminecraft:skeleton@#wither_effectminecraft:creeper@#wither_effectminecraft:spider@#wither_effectminecraft:enderman@#wither_effectYou can now configure highly specific filters to ignore specific death causes for specific mobs. Instead of disabling entity logging entirely, you can target the exact "users" responsible for farm deaths. For example, you can tell the plugin to ignore guardians dying from campfires or iron golems dying to lava while still logging every other death in the world. This allows you to prevent your database from clogging with thousands of automated farm kills while keeping your important security logs intact. Using the new namespaced ID and filter format, you can maintain a lean database and save a massive amount of disk space over time.
