I have one dedicated PC with Ubuntu Server running a Minecraft server 24/7, Minecraft is the only thing it runs. I have two ports open, 25565 for Minecraft and 24454 for Simple Voicechat. I know port forwarding is generally considered to be safe, but I'm kinda paranoid and would like to ensure I'm as secure as possible.

Current things I'm doing right now is using a docker and having whitelist & online mode enabled.

I've heard some people say they put the machine on an isolated network so hackers wouldn't have access to other devices on the network, but I'm not sure how/if I can do that since it's connected via ethernet and I have a consumer router.

Is there anything else I can do to make sure my network is safe? In the worst case scenario of a hacker getting escalated privileges and having access to my host PC, would they get access to other devices on my network as well?
