Hi there. I am currently running a Fabric 1.21.11 server for me and 20 friends through Docker. There are a lot of mods and datapacks on this server, many of which don't exist as plugins for things like Paper, Spigot, and etc. Currently the world is classic SMP, but I wanna expand it to have more worlds, some with shared resources. Specifically:

  • Main SMP world
  • ^ Resource World with shared items and inventory
  • Creative World

I know a few options exist but I'm either not well informed about them or they dont fit my purpose for various reasons.

  • I could just try to do multiple servers but that wouldn't give me shared inventory between worlds. Also amongst my friends many never played Minecraft and already had tons of trouble getting on the main server, dont want to make things more complicated for them.

  • I've heard it's possible to use proxies like Velocity with Fabric but Im not well informed on what mod support would be like given that Velocity is meant for plugins.

  • Ive also seen and heard that multiworld for fabric exists but Ive heard that there are many issues with it. In addition I heard that its impossible to do per world data packs because of how it works.

I was wondering if there were any other solutions I am not aware of or if there was a way to use proxies or multiworld without the issues I listed. Also I own a dedicated bare metal server so things like storage and hosting costs arent an issue. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
