GUIDE MINECRAFT Roll Back Grief with CoreProtect

CoreProtect is useful for finding who changed blocks and reversing grief without restoring an entire world backup.

Start with the inspector:

/co inspect

You can also use:

/co i

With the inspector enabled, interact with blocks to see who placed, removed or used them.

To search activity by a player:

/co lookup u:PlayerName t:1h

This searches actions from that player during the last hour.

You can restrict the search to a radius:

/co lookup u:PlayerName t:1h r:20

Before performing a rollback, preview it first:

/co rollback u:PlayerName t:1h r:20 #preview

Check the result carefully.

If everything looks correct, run the rollback without #preview:

/co rollback u:PlayerName t:1h r:20

CoreProtect will reverse the matching actions.

If you accidentally rollback something you wanted to keep, CoreProtect also supports restore:

/co restore u:PlayerName t:1h r:20

You can search individual block types too.

Example:

/co lookup i:diamond_ore t:1h a:-block

This can help investigate suspicious mining.

Always use specific usernames, times and radiuses when possible. Avoid huge global rollbacks unless you understand exactly what the command will affect.

CoreProtect officially supports inspect, lookup, rollback, restore and the #preview option.
