Running a server on my Rasberry pi 3b

Its my first time trying to host a minecraft server but I wanted to see how far my rasberry pi could go. So, if someone could suggest a lightweight server software that runs well on it , with a maximum of two players, that would be great. If anyone has any other advice or recommendations, I would appreciate them.
