NEWS UPDATE: Daily Bonus

UPDATE: STREAK MULTIPLIERS, DRIVE PITY & A REBALANCED SYNDICATE STASH

STREAK MULTIPLIERS
  • Your streak no longer resets when you hit the jackpot. Reaching day 7 used to wipe your progress back to zero and you spent another week climbing back. It now keeps counting up, and the multiplier climbs with it.
    • Day 7 unlocks 2X Shards, day 14 raises it to 2.25X, day 30 to 2.5X, and day 60 caps it at 3X.
    • Stack it with an Overclock Chip and you are looking at 6X on a standard extraction.
    • The +50 XP bonus now lands each time you reach a new tier instead of every jackpot day.
    • Miss a day and you drop back to 1, exactly as before.
  • The dashboard now shows where you actually are. A day counter, a progress bar toward the next tier, and the multiplier you are chasing, instead of a single line of text.

ENCRYPTED DRIVES
  • A Drive is now guaranteed eventually. Drives stay rare, that is the point of them, but pure bad luck could previously keep one away from you for well over a year.
    • After 75 extractions without a Drive, the odds start climbing with every further extraction.
    • At 130 extractions a Drive is guaranteed.
    • For most of you nothing changes. The typical wait is identical to before, this only cuts off the worst possible run of luck.
    • Once you pass 75, a counter appears next to your Drive collection showing how many extractions remain until the guarantee.

SYNDICATE STASH REBALANCE
  • Everything except the lootbox was heavily overpriced. Measured against what each item is actually worth in Shards, the Mystery Lootbox was the only fairly priced thing on the shelf, which is why nobody bought anything else.
    • Streak Freeze 75 → 60 ST
    • Hourglass 250 → 80 ST
    • Lucky Coin 400 → 100 ST
    • Overclock Chip 600 → 150 ST
    • Encrypted Drive 1000 → 200 ST
    • Mystery Lootbox stays at 30 ST
  • Purchase limits per window. Each item now has a cap for as long as the Stash stays open: 5 lootboxes, 3 Freezes, 3 Hourglasses, 3 Drives, 2 Lucky Coins, 2 Overclock Chips. The Stash is a short window and it should be worth spreading your Tokens around, not emptying them into one pile.
  • You can see what you have left. Each item shows remaining stock, and the button reads SOLD OUT once you are done with it.
  • Sacrifice history is no longer deleted. Closing the Stash used to wipe the donation records, taking the Top Sacrifices board with them. Every contribution is now kept permanently.

NEW: STANDING REQUISITIONS
  • A small shop that is always open. Tokens used to sit dead in your stash between Mega-Vault breaches with nothing to spend them on. There is now somewhere to put them any day of the week.
    • Data Cache 100 ST, twice a day. Decrypts into 50 Vault XP. Levels shorten your extraction cooldown, so this is a direct route to faster claims. Sold here only.
    • Streak Freeze 90 ST, once a day.
    • Hourglass 120 ST, once a day.
  • You pay for the convenience. The Stash sells the same gear cheaper. Each item shows the Stash price next to it so you can decide whether to buy now or hold out, and a warning appears while the Stash is open.
  • Limits reset daily, so it stays a steady trickle rather than something you clear out in one sitting.

FIXES
  • The Hourglass was destroying your streak. Resetting your cooldown also wiped your streak back to day 1, which made the most expensive utility item in the game actively harmful.
  • Using a Streak Freeze from your inventory consumed it and did nothing. It is a passive item that fires automatically when you miss a day, and it now says so instead of eating your item.
  • Rapid clicking could claim twice. Firing two requests at once could produce a double daily claim or a double gamble payout. All extractions, gambles and purchases are now handled one at a time.
  • You can no longer overpay the Mega-Vault. With 30 Shards left to the target, donating 50 took all 50 and threw away the difference. It now takes only what is needed and the rest stays in your wallet.
  • Failed requests no longer leave you staring at a dead page. Connection problems used to silently hide the extraction button with no explanation. You now get a message and the button back.

UNDER THE HOOD
  • The Stash closes on schedule rather than whenever somebody happened to load the page.
  • Accessibility and performance. Sound effects no longer download for everyone on every page load, results are announced to screen readers, tabs work with a keyboard, and heavy animations respect your system's reduced motion setting.
