- Shard Deduction Accuracy: The mandatory 2 Shards network fee is now correctly and consistently deducted via the credits system the moment your file starts downloading.
- Smart Download Prompts: Our system now perfectly detects if you need to react to a post, pay the Shard fee, or use NVCoins, giving you clear overlays instead of generic permission errors.
2. The Economy: Shards & NVCoins
We have officially structured our dual-currency system to reward active members and contributors.
- Shards (Activity Currency): Used as an anti-leech fee (2 Shards per download). You can earn these by logging in daily, posting, receiving likes, or exchanging NVCoins. You can also use Shards to buy Avatar Frames and Name Icons!
- NVCoins / NVC (Premium Currency): The core currency for Vault+ content. You can earn NVC natively via our Coin Miner (just by keeping a tab open!), by selling premium resources, or by topping up.
- The Exchange: Need Shards to download? Have extra NVC from mining? You can now instantly swap NVCoins for Shards via the Wallet Exchange!
3. Vault+ Tiers & Daily Limits
We've revamped how Vault+ limits and pricing work, making it fairer and more flexible. Limits are now on a rolling 24-hour timer.
- Vault+ Full (Lifetime): 10 free Vault+ downloads per day. Once you hit the limit, you can still download Vault+ files for a heavily discounted rate of 0.25 NVC per version.
- Vault+ Limited (1 Month): 5 free Vault+ downloads per day. Once you hit the limit, further files cost 0.33 NVC.
- Free Users: Standard rate of 0.50 NVC per Vault+ resource version.
- Download Boosters: Need to download a lot today? You can now spend your mined NVCoins on Boosters to temporarily increase your daily Vault+ limit (e.g., from 10 to 12).
