I’m fully aware that 1.8.9 is outdated and a pain to work with, but for Bedwars the 1.8 combat is basically required, so I don't really have an option.
There are plugins on newer versions that bring back old PVP, but most players would be joining on 1.8.9 clients, and relying on plugins like ViaRewind/ViaVersion usually ends up causing weird combat issues.
Since I’m stuck on 1.8.9, I’m just trying to find the most stable software that handles mini-games well under load.
If you’ve got experience running Bedwars servers, what would you recommend?
