Real Life
Bring real-world survival to your Minecraft server
Real Life adds a full layer of realism to survival gameplay: dynamic seasons, real weather and temperature, a detailed nutrition system, and physics-driven mechanics like real fall damage and falling trees. It turns your world into a living ecosystem where the environment and player choices are always connected.
Test Server: real.mipcraft.eu (157.90.137.69:55001)
If you don't want or like a particular feature, every feature can be enabled or disabled independently.
Seasons
Seasons change globally over time at a speed you set, affecting every player at once. Transition effects and season duration are fully customizable. See config.yml for details.
Realistic Animal Sizes
Animal models are resized for a more natural, true-to-life look instead of Minecraft's default proportions.
Weather
Weather changes dynamically over time and by location. Rain chance and other behavior are adjustable. See config.yml for details.
Temperature
Global temperature shifts with the season, weather, and time of day. Get too cold and you'll start freezing — warm clothing or a nearby heat source fixes that. Get too hot and you risk overheating, which lighter clothing helps prevent. See config.yml for details.
Nutrition
Food is tracked across five values — carbs, protein, fats, vitamins, and water — each of which can be enabled, disabled, and tuned independently, including how fast it depletes. See nutrition.yml for details.
Spoiling Items
Food — or any other item you configure — spoils over time and turns into a spoiled item (bone meal by default) once it's gone bad.
Realistic Crafting
Craft by placing items on the ground (shift + right-click), then combine them by shift-left-clicking on a crafting table. See crafting.yml to enable or disable individual options.
Falling Trees & Real Fall Damage
Trees fall realistically when chopped, and fall damage follows real-world physics — including reduced damage for landing in water.
Tree growth & Fruit Growth
Trees grow gradually over time. Once a tree reaches full maturity, it begins to produce fruit, depending on the tree species. The fruit will gradually appear among the leaves.
