Hello, I am new to the world of Minecraft server hosting. I host a small server for my friends and I to play private bedwars games.
The server runs on spigot 1.20 and I use a plugin called combat plus to replicate the 1.8.9 combat mechanics. I would just create a 1.8.9 server but I have a dependency on using multiverse-core to manage the various maps and switching between them.
My question is this - does running the server on 1.20 and using a combat plugin the same as running a 1.8.9 server?
If anyone has a solution to my multiverse-core dependency, I am open to that as well. I think it goes without saying, I don’t want to build anything in house.
