Does anyone have experience running a modded mc server on a 8700g?
Current specs i know it'd be an upgrade from what I have, but how much of an upgrade is the question? Is it worth 650-700$
for the bundle:
8700g APU
Asrock b650i motherboard
32gb crucial ddr5 (5600, cl46)
512gb nvme
Thermalright axp120 x67
Current:
2600x
32gb (4x8 3200 cl 18 or 16)
1tb nvme ssd
Now I know again, its an upgrade. I just want to know if someone else has run a server off that cpu (8700g) how it performs? And would it really be worth the almost 1k$. Im worried the ram cl 46 is going to be negative in comparison.
I run lightly fabric modded 1.21.1, probably at most 3-5 people consecutively, 10 invited. Haven't really got to test everyone at once as modpack isn't finished.
