Docker compose MC server > Ubuntu vm > debian NAS > Negear unmanaged switch > Netgear nighthawk router > spectrum modem. Port forwarding not functioning.
I’m really not sure what to do. My gut is telling me it’s my netgear router potentially having ip reservation issues or possibly just having random software issues causing port forwarding to malfunction, but my server isn’t working when connecting from my WAN ip. I can connect no problems and it runs great from my local ip.
I shut my server off a week ago and moved, got a new modem and was expecting to just plug everything back in and for it to just work. Ofc nothing is that easy with a netgear router. I had to factory reset it just for it to obtain its new WAN ip and now it’s having port forwarding issues. Port forwarding and everything was working perfect when I shut everything down and unplugged it.
Does anyone have any ideas outside of getting a new router?
