How do I calculate tick rate for my server so I can have 3 minecraft days in a singular day?

I'm trying to slow down my minecraft days so I can make minecraft follow a 3 day limit, each day being 8 hours long instead of 20 minutes each. How would I do this? By plugin or is there a minecraft command that can do this?
