I run a few Minecraft servers in my homelab and got tired of dealing with raw console of minecraft. Type list to check Players online, switching java versions, restarting servers and etc. So I built hso which wraps minecraft servers and just give a bunch of features.

What it does :

  • Works with Vanilla, Spigot, Paper, Forge, NeoForge, and Fabric
  • Setup wizard: point it at an existing server, or install new server with easy steps
  • Live Memory+CPU graphs you can actually see what's using your RAM
  • Chat separated from the console log
  • Per-player commands without typing them out
  • Auto restart, and switching Java versions per server
  • No plugin or mod needed on the server side
  • ~30MB memory use
  • Works on console

Check it out here if you're interested: https://github.com/hijoushoku7/hijo-server-ops

Install is so easy!

I would love to hear feedback, or bug reports through github issues!

I used LLMs quite a bit while writing the code for this. If that's not something you're comfortable with, this might not be the tool for you.

Also, English isn't my native language, so please excuse any awkward phrasing. Thank you.
