Is 5mbit/s enough upload speed for 3-8 players vanilla

My home network has 75 megabits down and 5 up cable for like $65 a month becuase its the only provider available in my town besides starlink and no fiber reaches my location, and I want to run the server with me and a few friends, mostly just 3-5 online at a time with potentially up to around 8, and the server storing 10-20 total players not all at a time. I want to run java vanilla, but with geyser for bedrock players. I'm unhappy with the performance of aternos servers with regards to view distance and not being able to run them 24/7
