Hello Admincraft,
I recently connected my server network as an external server to Minekeep to increase player flow. When I did, Minekeep required me to setup a CNAME record on Namecheap, which I use to get the domain. However, when I added the CNAME record, it is now only possible to join through Minekeep, not the regular play.[server_name].com IP. I tried switching out the CNAME record for an SRV record (AI told me to) but that did not work either.
I have two velocity proxy servers setup, one for Minekeep connections and one for direct connections. The console of the direct connection velocity does not detect when I try to join.
Have anybody else encountered this problem? Does Minekeep just restrict you from setting up direct connections, or am I doing something wrong here? Sorry if my text is confusing, I hope that you can make some sense out of it.
Thanks!
