Hey guys,
First of all, english is not my first language, so please keep that in mind.
I am currently trying to buy some Hardware for a dedicated Gameserver for me and my friends (3-5people). I just do not have that much money, so I´m trying to get my Money worth.
Requirements:
- will run Vanilla Minecraft 80% of the time, maybe a bit of Valheim, maybe a bit of Cobblemon
- 3-5 Players max
- about 300 euro budget, prefer less
- I am located in Germany
I did a bit of research and found a listing of an Mini PC with an Intel Core i5 6500T, 16GB DDR4 RAM and 256GB SSD. For about 140 euros.
So my question is: Will this work, I´m not sure whether the CPU is fast enough, we all play pretty independent from one another. (Everyone has pretty specific ideas on where to build their Base, so when everyone is online there will be a large part of the map rendered)
And if it doesn´t work, does anyone have some recomendations?
