I use this to keep my custom events from stepping on each other.
Although you will find Boss Monster in the default configuration, you may have to modify the plugin name or commands because Boss Monster is a horrible mess so I wrote my own version rBoss with a built-in scheduler to give it full control of the boss schedule and not mix it with the rest of the custom plugins. Happy to answer questions.

Additional note.
You will see some plugins/events in the default config that are not public like rTwister.
It is safe to remove it or any other events you do not use from the configuration file to keep it neat.
