Hi all,
I’ve been running into the same issue repeatedly while working with Paper servers: creating small custom plugins often feels heavier than it should be, especially for simple things like custom commands, event triggers, or automation logic.
Because of that, I’ve been building a free low-code / visual tool that generates Paper plugins to simplify this process. Before I go further with it, I wanted to ask the community:
• How do you currently handle small custom plugin needs?
• Do you usually write them yourself, hire a dev, or avoid custom plugins altogether?
• What parts of Paper plugin development are the most annoying or time-consuming for you?
• Would a visual workflow tool even be useful in real server environments, or is Java control still preferred?
I’m not posting a link here since I mainly want to understand real server workflows and whether this solves an actual problem for admins.
Appreciate any insight from people running Paper/Spigot servers in production.
