In my homelabbing journey I decided to take a stab at minecraft server hosting. I currently have the motherboard out of a Dell Pro Slim QCS1250 with an Intel Ultra 5 235 cpu, and 32gb 5500mhz ddr5 ram. I have proxmox 9 running a Debian lxc with crafty controller. The lxc is set to use the 6 P cores from the cpu as well as 18gb of the ram. No matter what optimizations I try via plug-ins or proxmox settings I am still getting super low tps numbers, high mspt numbers, and very low chunk loading speeds. Its a paper 26.2 server, brand new world, with the lagfixer plug-in. I only planned to have 1-5 players on at a time but I can't seem to get decent performance with just me in the server. Am I missing something? I feel like my specs should be able to handle a single vanilla server with 1 player.
