The Hollow Spire
Twenty-five floors to the great bell, Renown after level 30 and a new look for your gear.
The Hollow Spire
- The old Crypt tab is now Cursed Grounds: pick The Crypt below or The Hollow Spire above. The Spire opens after you defeat The Tunnel Warden.
- 25 floors, each beaten once. Your progress stays for good.
- One climb every hour, win or lose. No Lantern Oil needed. A lost floor stays open for your next try.
- You get a forum alert as soon as the stairs open again.
- No XP in the Spire.
- Every five floors bring new foes: Gargoyles, Chained Wraiths, Candle Liches, Clockwork Sentinels and Raven Knights. Every fifth floor is guarded by a bell-bound guardian. Higher floors stay hidden until you reach them.
- At the top waits The Bellringer. Only the strongest stalkers will reach it. Bring your best gear, a forged scythe and a few brews.
- 516 Shards, with 120 on the top floor.
- 12 Darknet field kits straight to your Coin Miner wallet: Recon Uplinks, Stim Patches, Overclock Cells and Firewall Patches.
- 10 Coin Miner supplies for your Stash, including a Reaper Heatsink on floor 24.
- 2× Bottled Midnight (LN2) on floors 10 and 20.
- 3× Supply Drop on floors 5, 15 and 25.
- Level 30 is still the top, but your XP no longer goes to waste. Every 6,000 XP earns a rank of Renown.
- Every rank pays Bones, and every third rank adds 3 Grave Iron. Claim your rewards in the Hideout.
- Earn titles from Renowned and Night Veteran up to Grave Legend, Myth of the Hollow and Eternal Stalker. They show in the Hall of Stalkers.
- The Pumpkin Wheel and Night Contracts give XP again at level 30.
- Renown never adds power. It is all about pride.
- Love how another item looks? Old Grim in the Forge can melt it down and hammer its shape onto the gear you wear.
- Stats, rarity and forge level stay the same. Only the look and the name change.
- Costs 40 Bones. Hold the button to confirm, so nothing gets melted by accident.
- Weapon damage: scythes now show the damage range of your hits and the average, and how it compares with the scythe you wear.
- Blood Moon now paints the Bone Market, the Crypt and the Hollow Spire red too, and Mister Rattle has a few words about it.
- The witch’s cauldron now turns red during a Blood Moon on phones too.
- The Guide has a new Climbs section.
