Hey peeps,
Last week I decided to go public with a server I've been working on off and on for a while. I put the server up on about 8 voting sites, made a website, and made some reddit posts about it in some of the server threads.
It's a whitelisted server, mainly to keep it an adult community and also make sure no undesirables get in (hackers/cheaters etc), so I have just a little form on the website for people to do before getting whitelisted (basic things like in-game name and stupid questions like what do you like about minecraft).
I've gotten a *lot* of views and website visits, but nobody joining or reaching out yet. I know a week isn't a long time to really get new players for a brand new server, but I was hoping for at least 1 or 2 by now.
I'm just looking for tips and recommendations for how to get people in the door and get some momentum going. I also know it's a tough time if year to get new players lol
