The Black Market got rebuilt. Two limited offers rotate every Monday and are shared by the whole forum, broken rigs are finally worth something, and defence stops being a thing you buy and then forget about. Darknet Operations has tabs, the rigs page has a real dashboard, and every confirmation window on the network was redesigned.
LIMITED SUPPLY
- Two offers now rotate every Monday and the stock is shared by everybody on the forum. When it is claimed, it is gone until the next restock.
- Salvaged Hardware is a lower tier rig at 45% to 60% off, 10 units a week. It arrives worn, somewhere between 40% and 70% condition, because it was pulled out of somebody else's farm.
- Prototype of the Week is a top tier rig at 20% to 30% off, only 3 units a week, sealed at full condition.
- The discount is not fixed. It is rolled fresh each week alongside the rig, so a good week is genuinely worth waiting for.
- Where the hardware came from is different every week too. Eight stories per offer, rolled from the same weekly seed.
TWO NEW BLACK MARKET RIGS
- Relay Cluster runs at 2,800 H/s for 700 Shards and wears down 10.1% a day, the slowest in the entire Black Market line.
- Overvolted Blade runs at 3,500 H/s for 550 Shards and wears down 23.8% a day, the fastest.
- That is the point. The Blade is the best raw value per Shard on the market and it eats itself alive getting there. The Cluster costs more per hash and barely needs touching. Until now every rig was just a bigger number than the one below it.
- Both also widen the Salvaged Hardware pool from four rigs to six, so the weekly offer repeats far less.
THE SCRAPYARD
- A completely broken rig sold for nothing. Sale price scales with condition, and a wreck is at zero, so the shop paid zero. That was never intentional.
- The Scrapyard has its own tab now and buys wrecks for 20% of the original price.
- That number is not arbitrary. Repairing a fully broken rig costs exactly 20%. So the yard hands you back what the repair would have cost, and the choice is clean: fix it and keep mining, or take the money and let it go.
- Every wreck stripped has a 25% chance of turning up an Encrypted Supply Drop in the wiring.
- Scrapping is permanent. The confirmation lists every rig and what it pays before you commit.
COUNTER-INTELLIGENCE
- Firewall and DDoS Mitigation decide how often an attack lands on you. Counter-Intelligence decides what happens when one misses.
- Every attack that fails against you leaves a trace on the attacker, which sits in your Operations terminal for 24 hours and lets you strike back at that exact person.
- Retaliation costs no operation charge. Each level pays for one free retaliation per day, up to three.
- You see every trace regardless, so you always know who came for you. The level decides how many are worth acting on.
- A retaliation is spent whether it lands or not, and the target's shield and your own Operational Fatigue still apply. It is a free shot, not a guaranteed one.
- Ghost attackers leave nothing. No level of Counter-Intelligence unmasks them, at any price. The terminal will tell you how many masked attempts there were, and that is all you get.
- The daily cap matters more than it looks. Without it, being attacked a lot would have become a source of free attacks, which would have rewarded exactly the accounts that already had the most defence and the most coin.
DARKNET OPERATIONS HAS TABS
- Operations holds your charges, fatigue, Field Kit and the target list. It opens there, so nothing you actually do costs you a click.
- Defence holds Counter-Intelligence and your traces, with a counter on the tab when somebody is waiting.
- Agent holds your statistics and Offensive Modules.
- Intel holds the attack log and the Hall of Fame.
- The tab you are on lives in the URL, so you can link somebody straight to it.
THE BLACK MARKET LOOKS DIFFERENT
- Rigs can be compared at a glance. Mining power and wear rate are drawn as bars scaled against everything the market carries, with value per Shard and the gap against your best rig already owned.
- Owned rigs are marked, so you stop buying the same one twice.
- Upgrades show level pips instead of a line of text, and light up in sequence.
- Rotation and restock timers sit at the top of every tab, next to your balance.
- The Shards icon replaced the word Shards everywhere it was a price.
THE RIGS PAGE
- The top of the page is a dashboard now. Total hashrate, active hashrate, rigs online and average condition, with bars showing how much of your capacity is actually running.
- Facility and maintenance sit side by side. The Underground Mechanic and Repair All were two separate banners doing the same job and are now one panel.
- Repairs ask before they take your Shards. Single repairs had no confirmation at all before this.
- Overclock moved next to the hashrate it modifies, and disappears once a rig is already overclocked instead of sitting there greyed out.
- When you cannot afford something, the button says how much you are short rather than just refusing.
CONFIRMATION WINDOWS
- All eighteen were rebuilt on one design. Coloured header, the numbers in a table, the cost on its own, and the warning last.
- They show you the before and after. Overclock prints your current and boosted hashrate and the gain. Repairs print current condition with a bar. Facility upgrades print the level track.
- The button locks after the first click. Double clicking a confirmation used to be able to spend twice.
FIXES
- The rig health bar could disagree with the condition next to it. The bar read one field and the heart read another. Both read condition now.
- The daily rig rotation was not evenly random. The shuffle was seeded off the day number directly, and sequential seeds produce correlated results, so some rigs appeared far more often than others. Fixed, and verified across sixty days.
- Exchange Infrastructure now says what it actually does. It raises the cap on sell orders only, up to 20.00 NVC. Buy orders stay at 5.00 NVC no matter your level, and it never changed how many trades you get. The help page said otherwise and was wrong.
- The infrastructure panel shows your real numbers, current sell cap and what it becomes, instead of a flat +1.00 NVC.
