HACKER PROGRESSION & CYBER SKILLS
- Hacker Level System: Agents now earn Hacker XP for participating in Darknet Operations. Successfully hacking targets, launching DDoS attacks, defending your node, and decrypting Supply Drops all grant XP! Level up to earn Skill Points (SP).
- The Cyber Skill Tree: Introducing a brand new Cyber Skills interface! Spend your SP across three distinct tactical branches:
- The Phantom (Stealth & Speed): Unlock skills like Ghost Protocol (hide your identity in attack logs), Bypass Mastery, and Overclock (drastically reduce action cooldowns).
- The Parasite (Loot & Siphoning): Unlock Deep Extraction (steal more NVC per hack), Data Intercept, or Jackpot (drastically increase your chances of pulling NVC from Supply Drops).
- The Guardian (Defense): Fortify your node with Reinforced Firewall or the devastating Backfire Protocol (automatically steal NVC from failed attackers).
OFFENSIVE MODULES
- Hardware Upgrades: You can now upgrade your core attack infrastructure directly from the Darknet Operations dashboard using Shards.
- Zero-Day Exploit Kit: Permanently increases your baseline Hack Success Chance by +5% per level (Max Level 5).
- Botnet Node Cluster: Permanently increases your baseline DDoS Success Chance by +5% per level (Max Level 5).
- Level Gates: Advanced hardware upgrades require you to prove your worth by reaching specific Hacker Levels before they can be purchased.
