NEW VAULT+ PERK: IP PRIVACY
- True Anonymity: Vault+ Full members can now enable the new "Disable logging my IP address" option in their Privacy settings. Once active, your real IP address will NEVER be stored in our database or be visible to any staff members.
- Cryptographic Hashing: Instead of storing your actual IP, our system uses a secure, irreversible one-way HMAC hashing algorithm to instantly convert your connection data into an anonymized, private network format (a
10.x.x.xaddress). - Historical Wipe: If you are activating this feature for the first time, make sure to click the "Clear all my IP logs" button in your account settings to permanently purge your legacy IP records from our systems.

- Deterministic Matching: Because the hashing algorithm is deterministic, our automated Multi-Account detection systems remain 100% functional.
- Smart Security: If multiple accounts connect using the same real IP, the algorithm will generate the exact same anonymized hash for both. This allows our security bots to confidently detect and auto-ban alt accounts, ban evaders, and abusers without anyone ever needing to see your real IP address.
