I want to host a server. I have a more than capable system but and I've tried everything to try and make it work but my internet provider is blocking inbound traffic. Here is what I've tried.
Set up and ran Paper server
Verified local connection
Checked local vs public IP
Set static LAN IP
Port forwarded 25565 (TCP/UDP)
Recreated port forward
Lowered router firewall
Allowed Java / port 25565 in Windows Firewall
Disabled Windows Firewall (test)
Tested public IP connection (failed)
Tested with canyouseeme.org (port closed)
Forced IPv4 in Java
Verified server is listening correctly
Contacted provider and they said "there shouldn't be on issue from our end"
From what I know ISP/gateway blocking inbound traffic.
Tried tunneling like play.gg found it's way to laggy.
Is there a way I can still make this happen, if not what is the best way to host a decent sized server like 50 for a short event without obviously switching providers.
