I own a vanilla Minecraft server. It's been going for five months now, but it feels like it's dying and I'd like to prevent that. Honestly I have no idea how to approach the problem.From a player's perspective I get it that playing or building on a dead server isn't something most people want to do, and a lot of people are just busy right now. But I want to do my best to keep it together and make sure our long-term players have something to come back to.
I created the server out of a hobby and a passion for the game, not for money. There are no pay-to-win features and there never will be, and no resets either.
It's Java, vanilla mechanics preserved with bedrock support, whitelisted with a short application, 18+. We still get people on every day, but rarely more than a handful at the same time.
I'm not advertising, I won't post the name or a link. I'd just rather learn from people who have been there.
What to do to make the server great again?
