NVCoin Update - Patch Notes
NEW FEATURES & ADDITIONS
- Rig Selling is Here! You can now sell your old or unwanted mining rigs back to the shop! If the rig is brand new (100% health), you get a full refund. If it's been used, a 25% "used goods" tax applies, and the final payout scales based on the remaining health. Time to clean up and upgrade your farm!
- System Alerts Update: Notifications for finding a block are no longer sent by a faceless "System" ghost. They are now officially dispatched by our dedicated server bot!
ECONOMY & BALANCING
- Massive High-Tier Rig Buff: We fixed the math where buying 20 Starter Rigs was more efficient than saving up for the big toys. High-tier rigs just received a MASSIVE Hashrate boost! (For example, the ASIC now pushes an insane 8,000 H/s). Saving your Shards for the end-game hardware is now the ultimate strategy.
- Repair Costs Slashed: To ensure our heavy-hitting miners stay profitable, we've slashed the repair cost of all rigs from 50% down to just 20% of their base price.
- Dynamic Rig Degradation: Rigs now degrade a bit faster (a Starter rig lasts ~8 days, ASIC ~5 days), creating a much healthier economy and active shard sink. We also updated the visual health bar to drop in 0.1% increments, you'll now actually see your rigs working hard in real-time!
BUG FIXES & STABILITY
- Exchange Market Exploit Fixed: We patched a loophole where rapid buying/selling caused an "echo effect" that artificially pumped the NVCoin exchange rate. The market now correctly resets trading pressure after every tick. Nice try, Wall Street wolves!

- Top Hashpower Leaderboard: The leaderboard now strictly displays Active miners. If your rig is paused, broken, or you log off, your hashrate is removed from the Top 10 to make room for the real network contributors.
- Network Unfreeze Mechanic: Improved the "emergency difficulty drop" system. If the network goes 2+ hours without finding a block, difficulty now drops smoothly by 1% at a time, rather than violently crashing the economy.
- "Indestructible Rig" Bug: Fixed a database rounding error where some rigs would get stuck at 100% health forever. Rigs will now properly take wear-and-tear damage as intended.
