KEEP YOUR SYSTEM PATCHED
- The Vulnerability Scanner lives in the Agent tab. New vulnerabilities can appear while you are offline, with up to three left unpatched at once.
- Each unpatched vulnerability reduces the effectiveness of your existing protection by 5%, up to 15% in total. This affects Firewall, DDoS Mitigation and the Reinforced Firewall skill. Your upgrade levels stay the same.
- This is a reduction to your defence effectiveness, not a flat addition to an attacker's success chance.
- Security patches are free. Hold the patch button to install one. No Shards, no Field Kit items, and no repair bill.
- The Agent tab shows how many vulnerabilities need attention. Clear them to restore full defence effectiveness.
DARKNET TARGETS
- Players must have Darknet Operations unlocked to appear in the target list. Accounts that have not entered the system are excluded.
- The same requirement is checked when an attack is submitted, so an old target selection cannot bypass it.
MORE SHARDS. SAME PRICE.
- Shard Pack bonus events are now automatic and global. Everyone gets the same multiplier during the same event.
- Events last 24 hours, followed by a randomly selected pause.
- The bonus can be 1.5x, 1.75x, 2x or a rare 2.25x. Pack prices stay the same. At 2.25x, a 5,000 Shard pack awards 11,250 Shards.
- Gifted Shard Packs receive the event bonus too. The boosted reward goes to the recipient.
- The bonus is locked in when checkout starts. If payment completes after the event ends, that checkout keeps its event reward.
THE PACK PAGE SHOWS WHAT YOU RECEIVE
- The active multiplier appears beside the pack category, so you can spot an event before opening the section.
- Pack tabs, detail headings and payment titles show the correct reward amount. During an event, the boosted total replaces the old base amount in the offer.
- The reward panel separates the total from the bonus, so you can see exactly how much extra is included.
